Central Texas Flood Relief: $500,000 Raised to Rebuild Lives and Communities

When disaster strikes, every act of kindness counts. Last month’s catastrophic flooding in Kerr County and other parts of Central Texas left devastating destruction in its wake, with homes lost and lives forever changed. SRS Raise the Roof Foundation and Heritage Cares believe in the power of collective action and your generosity certainly helped start the healing process. Your amazing support made a bigger impact than we even anticipated.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our customers, associates, team members and supplier partners, over $240,000 was raised for flood relief efforts in Texas. Through our SRS Raise the Roof Foundation, SRS Distribution matched these donations to send $500,000 in assistance to families, communities, relief teams and first responders so deeply affected by this disaster. Funds were granted to support Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country Kerr County Flood Relief, TEXSAR, United Cajun Navy, Texas A&M Veterinary Emergency Team and Mercy Chefs for their incredible and compassionate work throughout this flooding crisis and as disaster recovery and rebuilding continue.
